1st Grade Math Worksheets
First grade is when children move from counting everything by ones to using real strategies: making ten, doubles, and thinking of subtraction as a missing addend.
The big goals are adding and subtracting within 20 (fluently within 10), understanding that a two-digit number is made of tens and ones, and adding within 100 using place value (Common Core 1.OA and 1.NBT). Each worksheet below focuses on one of those skills.
